In the Garden You Planted Me

It feels as though we were given only a season together.

One moment you were walking beside me in the garden of life, and the next, Heaven called your name. Though your footsteps no longer echo beside mine, the seeds you planted continue to bloom within my heart.

I treasure every flower from the garden we shared—the laughter, the love, the quiet moments, and the memories woven into the roots of our family. They remain pressed between the pages of my soul, untouched by time.

You were a woman after God's own heart.

I watched you weather storms that would have uprooted many. I witnessed trials that arrived like fierce winds, yet you stood firm. You never surrendered to bitterness. You never allowed anger to take root. Instead, you chose grace when others chose resentment, faith when others chose fear, and love when others chose division.

There was something almost heavenly about the way you lived.

Gentle, yet strong.
Humble, yet unwavering.
Quiet, yet powerful.

You taught without demanding attention. You led without seeking recognition. You loved without keeping score.

You were my angel on earth long before you became my angel in Heaven.

No matter the season, I could always count on you. You were a safe place, a steady hand, a comforting voice, and a faithful example. Through your actions, you showed me what commitment looks like. You taught me to finish what I start, to keep moving forward when life becomes difficult, and to trust God even when the path is unclear.

The harvest of your life continues through me.

Your faith still speaks.
Your wisdom still guides.
Your love still grows.

When I look at the woman I am today, I see traces of the garden you tended so carefully. Every lesson, every sacrifice, every prayer, every act of kindness became part of the soil from which I grew.

Thank you for being exactly who God created you to be.

Thank you for showing me what strength wrapped in grace looks like.

Thank you for demonstrating a faith that was not merely spoken, but lived.

And thank you for helping shape the woman I continue to become.

Though Heaven holds you now, your love still surrounds me like sunlight through the trees. I feel it in the quiet moments, in the memories we shared, and in the faith you passed down so generously.

I love you beyond words and beyond time.

Forever my mother.
Forever my friend.
Forever my earthly blessing and heavenly angel.

Until we meet again, I will continue tending the garden you planted in me.
